Fat Tuesday Chili Cook-off
The tradition continues with the Fat Tuesday Chili Cook-off. This year included a contest for Spiciest, Most Original and Best Overall. Each winner taking home a very unique prize. Plentiful was the chili and the cornbread and all the condiments related thereto. I made a vegan version of my famous chili. It was called Black Bean and Butternut Squash chili. It was quite a hit, but I did get to take a little bit home as leftovers. My cornbread was devoured however. We also had a surprise Bobday celebration complete with parade for Bob's leap year birthday. All were stuffed, but managed to make room for carrot cake cupcakes. This tradition can only get better. And I'm proposing more cook-offs (not necessarily just chili) in the future of Solomon's Porch.
