PMS and food |
Usually I just eat whatever I have on hand, meaning leftovers, and my body is quite content. In the last week, I have had the strangest cravings (usually meaning my body is lacking in something important in the mineral world). Turkey and swiss sandwich with hummus and sprouts and a side pickle spear. Chips and salsa. Anything sweet (which is usually when my body forgets I'm off refined sugar), so I've been trying to quench with honey sweetened stuff and stevia in my tea and coffee. Tuna. And dairy, dairy, dairy. So I've indulged my body a bit on those cravings this week, spending money on some food even when I have some in the freezer and the cupboard that is perfectly edible. That other food will have to wait until after the PMS has passed. |
