The Rain in Spain Stays Mainly in the Plain |
Normally these little blog inserts either don't interest me or get me intrigued enough only to find out what it reads for me and not to post here, but this one is kinda fun and I want to share it with others. So, it's What Kind of American English Do You Speak? I got it off Erik's blog. And apparently, I'm not even a little bit Dixie. And it's no wonder sometimes people from the Midwest don't think I'm from the Midwest. Turns out, I don't use as many Midwest colloquialisms as I thought.
My Linguistic Profile:
| 65% General American English | 20% Upper Midwestern | 10% Yankee | 5% Midwestern | 0% Dixie |
