March Snow
A few photo excerpts from last week's romp in the freshly falling early spring snow. Thor loves snow, and we like to play with him in the snow. And when we were tired playing, we took a walk.

Thor wants to go outside and play. See the "please" in his eyes?

Thor trying to work his charms on Matt to go outside and play.

Play?

Play!

Thor loves his recycled bike tire toy.

Matt and Thor try tug-o-war with the tire.

Snowy doggie.

Boy and his dog.

Before and After
I can't remember how long I've been letting my hair grow, but it has to have been at least 2 years, back to the last time time I had braids I think, which was the summer I went to Cornerstone.

It's been fun, but I've been needing a change lately. Something less heavy, less blah. I want to be able to wear my hair down and not feel overwhelmed by my hair, or have it get stuck under my arm or in my shirt or jacket. Time to have something lighter and more modern and lighter on my neck (been having more neck issues lately, probably connected to the sheer weight of my hair and putting it up at work every day.)

So today I made the switch. First, I perused several galleries to find styles I liked to print out a few for the stylist. Then I took some photos for posterity of my uber-long hair. I trekked down the street to Fantastic Sam's and the rest is history. See for yourself below.

After:

I think my new hair is fab and makes me appear to have lost some of my winter hibernation weight already (making my face look slimmer). Thank you stylist Diva at Fantastic Sam's in Uptown. You made my day.

Thor
I'll have to get a photo of him sprawled out on the floor with his tongue hanging out for you to really see his personality. This photo doesn't do him any justice. Perhaps it' s his homely looks and his menacing underbite which turn people off to him (myself somewhat included). He can't help it he's an Olde English Bulldogge (yes spelling is correct, he's a recreations of the Bull-baiting breed whose genetics have been determined to have gone extinct).

He's really one of the most loving dogs I've ever met. Pretty much just lays around most of the day, like to go on short walks around the blog, really wants the cat to play with him, and loves to give kisses (slobbery licks). He's really Matt's dog, but I guess he's growing on me.
