| That's correct, you read right, I'm being promoted during the down-season. Someone's getting canned and I'm getting transferred to take his place. It's all happening so quickly. I knew they were looking to make me an assistant manager and that it would likely happen sometime this winter at my current location. Instead, I will be working in Shoreview and then when the new Roseville superstore location opens (replacing the Shoreview store), I will be working there. Yay. It's a huge opportunity for me both this winter and especially come spring time. Not sure yet what the increase in compensation will be, but I should find out soon. Monday morning, don't look for me at my current shop location, I will be opening at Shoreview and learning the assistant manager ropes. (oh and don't forget learning where everything is in their store). By Tuesday morning, the plan is that I be a self-sufficient assistant manager. Whoa. And yay. :) |
