Lake Beauty Retreat 2006
For those of you who didn't join us for the retreat this past weekend, it was loads of fun and you should consider strongly going next year. The weather was perfect this time around with sunshine, balmy temps and the fall colors in all their splendor.

The turn-out was HUGE. I'm not sure on the final tally, but it felt like a lot more than usual. I was also struck by the large numbers of children we have (not just babies, but school-age kids). The number of young families sure is growing.

Below are the photos, and they speak for themselves on how much fun was had. (sorry there are a lot of them, but this was the best place for me to post them without limits to bandwidth and photo dimensions. And they are click-through style again for anyone who was looking to pilfer from me).

I second Katie! I especially liked the artistic ones w/the leaves or sky through weeds or field through grass etc.! & you & Matt are very cute & when I see Amy Anderson in nature w/kids, it reminds me of Camp Shamineau.... thanks again for posting your pics!!

Jen - Wow! I missed that sunrise over the Lake Beauty but you sure capture its majestic-ness. Thank you for sharing with us Porchers your amazing eye for things and people. You're a gift to our community. Cheers, Stephanie (the newly confessed & now-captured-on-film lover of flying!)
