First ever Solomon's Porch potluck dinner

However "Lutheran" of us this was, I have to commend people on all the non-hotdish options. This is definately on the list of "must do this again" moments. And perhaps now we might qualify as a "grownup church", whatever that means.

I miss potlucks. and hotdish. The Lutheran student group had a service this week at my school (each week a different faith hosts one) and they had green jello in honor of the Midwest Lutheran tradition. Sadly, I can't think of a single family event that I have EVER been to, where jello wasn't served.
I'm looking forward to attending a SP potluck, no matter how much it might remind me of my Lutheran past.
